The B-SVA18 is a high strength 18 oz. vermiculite-coated fiberglass welding blanket, recommended for heavy spark, spatter and slag protection on vertical and horizontal planes. The vermiculite coating gives a 3,000°F melting temperature and a 1,650°F maximum service temperature, along with acid, alkali and corrosion resistance. Hems are stitched with flame-resistant para-aramid thread, and all four sides are grommeted about 36 inches apart.
